Bhang Highdration

Where does the name “Bhang” come from?

Bhang is the preparation from the leaves and flowers (buds) of the female cannabis plant, smoked or consumed in beverage. Bhang in India is distributed as a religious offering during Shiva festivals like “Mahashivratri”. Bhang is not considered a drug but a traditional sleeping aid and appetizer. Sadhus and Sufis use Bhang to boost meditation and to achieve transcendental states.
